BUSINESS INSIGHTS MANAGER

• They are seeking a proactive Business Insights Manager with strong analytical skills.
• This individual should have a natural curiosity for problem solving and use their skills and business acumen to translate data into actionable insight.
• This individual must have the ability to challenge information, processes, and to think outside the box to solve problems and streamline communication of information.
• The Business Insights Team supports executive decision making by bringing creativity, advanced analytical techniques, and a strategic perspective to bear on challenging, macro-level opportunities. 
• The Manager will lead the team in delivering analytics on on-going operations, new opportunities and strategic goals. 
• This role must effectively use data to drive business decisions and provide a critical assessment of existing key performing indicators and recommend new measurements. 
• In addition, this team will be responsible for assisting in collaboration with functional areas on reporting, the design of business intelligence tools, partner with functional areas to collaborate on strategic decisions by providing quantitative and qualitative data analysis and partner with the overall FP&A team on annual planning cycles.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or equivalent required
• 5+ years Analytical Work Experience Preferred
• 3+ years prior experience managing teams in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment

Skills Needed:

• Statistical Analysis and a strong understanding of data visual applications
• Project documentation and Agile methodologies
• Microsoft SQL Server database development and querying
• Strong communication, organization and visual presentation skills with an ability to obtain and analyze data and draw business conclusion and offer solutions
• Able to concisely and effectively deliver insights, recommendations, and results to Executive Level Management
• High level of curiosity to explore, learn and understand business information and excellent attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Member of the Financial Planning and Analysis Leadership Team with direct responsibility for coaching and developing the Business Insights team
• Member of the Benco Analytics Leadership Team with shared responsibility for workload management, prioritization and quality of analytical output
• Oversee and drive analysis to provide relevant Executive Level guidance on business performance and areas of risk and opportunity
• Design analysis, reporting and appropriate check-ins that drives accountability for investments made by the organization
• Scope and design data visualization tools that democratize data throughout the organization
• Self-drive insightful analytics that are proactively shared with Benco Leaders that improve growth and efficiencies and/or point out key risks
• Provide timely and relevant Information to the business to support leadership decisions
• Facilitate strategic discussions, guide goal setting and monthly reporting on strategic goals
• Partner with business stakeholders to deliver strategy and recommendations on various initiatives across all levels of Management
• Partner with the Financial Planning & Reporting Manager to support the efficient execution and accountabilities of the planning and forecasting processes
